My Art Registry is a part of Hahnemühle Fine Art GmbH, which is located in Dassel, Germany. We also have subsidiaries in the UK, France, USA, China, and Singapore.
My Art Registry allows payments by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express), PayPal, Google, or Apple Pay or payments via instalments such as Klarna. We plan to introduce more payment options that will support markets demands and specifics.
Your online order is secured using SSL encryption. This way, we meet the standards for modern online purchases and always guarantee you the security of all transactions.
When you upload an image to My Art Registry, we store your high-resolution file as dissected and encrypted in a secure location that is never displayed anywhere on the internet. As a result, the high-resolution file can not be stolen or reviled without the decryption key.
We also make several low-resolution copies (e.g. small image, medium image, canvas image, etc.) which do get displayed in the gallery with or without watermarks. As in any image storage platform out there, those low-resolution images can be screenshot or downloaded, however, because of their low quality, they can’t be used for printing or any other serious production.
So - to answer the question - your high-resolution images are secure with My Art Registry, but the lower-resolution copies are not. Fortunately, lower-resolution copies are not very useful for producing high-quality prints.
