Born in Tubarão, Brazil, in 1988, Michel completed high school and worked in the metalworking industry for over 10 years. At the age of 25, he discovered a passion for modeling and began to refine his skills in traditional sculpture, taking courses in modeling and mold-making. During this period, he created resin sculptures until the age of 30. After five years of development in resin-based works, Michel returned to welding techniques, which he had used in his earliest professional experiences. This transition began after a visit to his brother-in-law’s mechanical workshop, where he collected discarded parts that were destined for the scrapyard—motorcycle sprockets, chains, and cassettes. In December 2019, using these materials, he created a wall-mounted horse, his first artwork in Metal Art. In the first quarter of 2020, he launched his first collection, “Transfiguration,” marking the definitive transition from resin art to Metal Art. Michel has exhibited at CasaCor Santa Catarina, the SC Custom Show in Camboriú, and was commissioned by Prime Video to create a sword to promote the series The Power of the Rings. His work has also been featured in a documentary produced by EuroNews. He has participated in numerous important events and exhibitions. In 2025, he was the only Brazilian artist invited to participate in Valuable Scraps, in Turkey.
