Dyanne Wilson is a Canadian fine art and documentary photographer whose work explores landscape, weather, memory and a sense of place. Raised in a military family and spending part of her childhood in Canada’s North, she developed an early sensitivity to landscape and impermanence. Her photographs are drawn to quiet threshold moments—between seasons, the inhabited and the wild, and the known and unknown. Working primarily in medium format, she creates restrained, contemplative photographs rooted in the experience of being somewhere.
