Ricardo Calegari

Brazil
Brazilian photographer and visual artist based between São Paulo, London, and Lisbon. His work is shaped by movement — across continents, cultures, and light conditions — and by the discipline of looking slowly in a world that rarely stops. His images span natural landscapes, urban environments, architectural interiors, and wildlife, made across locations in South America, Europe, Scandinavia, and beyond. What holds them together is not subject matter, but sensibility: a consistent attention to atmosphere, to the quality of available light, and to the precise moment when a place reveals something true about itself. Trained in brand identity and art direction, Ricardo brings a rigorous compositional intelligence to his photography. Each image is the result of both presence and intention — of being in the right place, and knowing exactly what to do with it. His fine art editions are produced in strictly limited runs on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta and Photo Rag Metallic papers — chosen for their tonal depth, surface integrity, and archival permanence. Every print is signed, numbered, and registered through the Hahnemühle My Art Registry, ensuring full provenance for each collector.
