The Arts have always been an intrinsic part of my life. As a viewer, listener, and reader I have found connection and enrichment. As a creator, it is through the arts that I can express my joy and delight in this existence. As a child, I really had the best of two worlds. I lived in Brooklyn with my parents, my sister, and our dog. There were always friends to play with and so many wonderful places to go and things to see. The art museums were among my favorites, and our mother took us often. I also had the great luck to have been able to spend lots of time at my Great Grandmother’s magical house in the Catskills. There were woods to explore, enormous rocks to climb, birds everywhere, and faeries to look for. Here was where the artists in my family gathered and I felt that life was very rich, indeed.
