The body has always been at the center of my research. Since the 1990s, I have immersed myself in Actor and Research Theatre, engaging deeply with the methodologies of Grotowski, Brook, Barba, and Aberasturi. I graduated in 1996 from DAMS with a thesis on flamenco as an artistic and anthropological expression. Afterward, I moved away from theatre understood as a purely spectacular space, in search of new, more fluid expressive territories, free from fixed identities. I developed self-propelled installations in which the body merges with the environment in an osmotic relationship. The use of audiovisual media has always been essential to my practice. Through the layering of images, sounds, and movement, I work across multiple levels of perception, weaving performance, video, music, photography, and objects into a sensitive and polyphonic narrative. I consider myself a generalist artist: I live and express myself through the medium that feels most appropriate in each moment. The camera was my first companion—it taught me how to remain grounded in reality and observe the world. Theatre later gave me an embodied awareness, while writing has always been present; I do not remember its beginning. I exhibit nationally and internationally in festivals, galleries, and museums and i have created works as a director and screenwriter and have participated in numerous theatre and film collaborations.
