Helene Gueury

Switzerland
Hélène Gueury uses photography to transcribe nature through lines, textures and plays of light and shadows. Having always needed to be close to nature, this proximity has become, over the years, an essential balance. She now settled down in a mountain village in the Alps. First fascinated by the resilience of nature, which literally regains its rights after any abandoned human intervention, the photographer now focuses her work on what nature has to transmit to us. Her work also highlights the power of nature and its precious resources. Her latest series "Elements" is the subject of a new exhibition beginning in 2026. Between sea and mountain, Hélène Gueury explores the force of the elements – Fire, Earth, Water and Air – in a photographic series where the fragile balance of nature is revealed with power and poetry. "I love to connect captured moments with reflections on life, allowing us to appreciate our surroundings more deeply. Through my lens, I aspire to reveal the invisible links between the beauty of the natural world and our human experiences, transforming each photograph into a visual narrative, rich in meaning and emotion. I hope you enjoy looking at these photographs as much as I enjoy creating them!"
