Martin Wieland is an Austrian artist working in fine art photography and mixed-media collage. His black-and-white photographs are direct, clean, and deliberately quiet — less about spectacle, more about presence. He builds his work in coherent series, returning to recurring motifs like rooms, stairs, cars, and the small moments in between. In parallel, he creates collage works that cut, layer, and reframe photographic fragments with textures and graphic elements, shifting the image from documentation to object.
