Description
Hand embroidered needle painting or silk shading of a Painted Bunting.
Took over 60 hours to stitch, and over 50 different colors of thread were used. Stitched using Cosmo and DMC stranded cotton.
The piece is laced and mounted and sink mounted with 8ply archival mat boards. Archival double mats placed on top.
It is 8 x 10 inches, mounted to fit an 11 x 14 inch frame.
