In the middle of Baden-Baden, on Lichtentaler Straße, stands the Golden Cross, a special building designed in the 1890s by architect Wilhelm Vittali and still standing today with its richly decorated façade. One of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Around 1935, Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft had its repair workshop in the Goldenes Kreuz and in the early 1980s it was renovated by real estate entrepreneur Jürgen Schneider.
