This photograph was taken on September 23, 2017, during the “Rhythm of Bulgaria” festival.
At the end of the festive program, a large horo dance unfolded between the Covered Bridge and the nearby Transport Bridge in Lovech. As it reached its culmination and spread around Todor Kirkov Square, it became an impressive and memorable finale to the festival - a moment of rare scale and atmosphere, one that would be difficult to repeat or capture in the same way again.
