The Portugal chapter of my 365 Days of Travel Watercolors project began in the Douro Valley, a landscape of terraced vineyards, whitewashed chapels, winding roads, and dramatic skies. These paintings explore the relationship between land, light, architecture, and memory in one of Europe's most beautiful wine regions. Created as part of a daily watercolor practice documenting places that left a lasting impression.
