In the late 1980s, Ralf Schultheiß traveled to the US for a major production. In the early 1990s he returned several times for further productions. In Palm Beach he met Donald Trump, who invited him to an exclusive private shoot at Mar-a-Lago. He also traveled to Los Angeles and along Highway 1. In 2009 he returned to New York City on a photographic journey about books and libraries. To mark the USA's 250th Independence Day, selected photographs from this series are offered for sale.
