From the rooftop of La Pedrera in Barcelona, Gaudí's sculptural chimneys rise above a sweeping yellow-tiled roof. Their strange organic forms turn ordinary architectural necessities into something almost figurative, while the city stretches quietly into the distance. This watercolor focuses on the unexpected geometry and imagination found above the street.
