A watercolor view within Ein Avdat in Israel's Negev Desert. Pale canyon walls of cream, rose, violet, and gray surround two small areas of blue: an opening of sky above and water below. Against the immense weight of the surrounding stone, these small fragments of color become the focus of the landscape. Created as part of my ongoing 365 Days of Travel Watercolors project.
