While this school of Akule moved towards me underwater, one single fish quickly turned on its side, reflecting the sunlight from above and appearing to glow against the darkness of the surrounding fish. To me this image is a reminder to try to be the light in the dark, and to never be afraid to be different – even when it feels uncomfortable. Taken in Hawaii, 2025. This edition is exclusively produced on dye-sublimation metal at 20x30 inches with a black metal float frame.
