Two flowerpots sit in recessed windows at opposite ends of a weathered wall in Porto, Portugal. Separated by a broad expanse of stone and plaster, they create an unexpected sense of connection across the empty space between them. Painted as Day 233 of my 365-day watercolor project, this work explores how small acts of care, simple color, and quiet observation can transform an ordinary architectural detail into something memorable.
