A watercolor inspired by the site of a former family home in Dubiecko, Poland. Although the wooden house no longer exists, a neighbor confirmed its location between these two houses. It was here that my wife's father began his life in 1920. Part of my Poland & Ukraine Roots Journey within an ongoing 365-day watercolor project, the painting reflects family history, memory, and the enduring power of place even after the physical structure is gone.
