A watercolor inspired by a quiet landscape at Auschwitz, Poland, visited the day before participating in the Ride for the Living from Auschwitz to Kraków. Part of my Poland & Ukraine Roots Journey and ongoing 365-day watercolor project, the painting reflects a moment of pause between remembrance and renewal, where history, memory, and the future seemed to occupy the same landscape.
