In 1994, Ralf Schultheiß returned to the USA for a well-known German travel magazine. In California, he followed Highway 1 and took the Greyhound bus from L.A., remembering Marylin Monroe at the bus stop. For the re-release, the original slides were digitized in high resolution. To mark the 250th anniversary of American independence, selected works are presented on hemp paper – as a historical reference to the materials and craftsmanship traditions of the founding era.
