A watercolor inspired by a quiet street in Évora, Portugal, where a series of historic archways gradually reveal what lies beyond. Whitewashed walls, soft shadows, and glimpses of blue sky create a sense of discovery and movement through the ancient city. Part of my ongoing 365-day travel watercolor project, the painting reflects the experience of wandering without a destination and finding beauty in what unfolds along the way.
