Two adjoining façades in Condesa, Mexico City, meet in an unexpected pairing of soft green and brilliant yellow. Wrought-iron windows, flowerpots, tile roofs and small decorative details animate the walls, while the sharp change in color turns an ordinary architectural boundary into the center of the composition. This small watercolor celebrates the way color gives individual buildings their own character while allowing them to remain part of the same street.
