Description
The B-Sides entstand aus meinem Projekt Botanical Studies, einer minimalistischen Auseinandersetzung mit den oft übersehenen Formen und Strukturen der Natur. Seit 2016 fotografiere ich Pflanzen monochrom, meist vor hellem Hintergrund. Manche „Models“ offenbarten ihren besonderen Charakter jedoch erst im Dunkeln. Sie wurden zu meinen B-Seiten: skulptural, geheimnisvoll und von stiller Eleganz. Eine Einladung, genauer hinzusehen und die Schönheit im Kleinen zu entdecken.
