A watercolor inspired by a surviving fragment of the former Kraków Ghetto wall. Unlike a monument created to remember, the wall remains because it endured. Surrounded by modern buildings, trees, and everyday life, it stands as a quiet witness to a world that once existed here. Part of my Poland & Ukraine Roots Journey and ongoing 365-day watercolor project, the painting explores memory, survival, and the lasting presence of history within contemporary landscapes.
