From a hillside at Quinta de Ventozelo, the Douro Valley seemed to unfold one layer at a time. Terraced vineyards, winding roads, red-tiled rooftops, and distant hills combined to create a landscape shaped by both nature and generations of careful stewardship. Painted as part of my 365 Days of Travel Watercolors project, this watercolor reflects the quiet beauty, scale, and timeless character of one of Portugal's most celebrated wine regions.
